It's certainly odd how Tashi Duncan can look at Art Donaldson and Patrick Zweig and know.

Perhaps it's because she's no stranger to doubles, even if she prefers singles. Or maybe it's because she's no stranger to friends who look at you like Patrick looks at Art and vice versa? Friends who you share one too many qualities with? Ones whose lips taste bittersweet?

Back then, Tashi was thinking: "Why are we this way, Cal?" while Cal was only worried that Tashi Duncan was going to be the death of her.

She was right, in a very roundabout way.
